Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard and solve word ladder puzzles.

How to play

Climb from the start word at the bottom to the goal word at the top by changing one letter at a time.

  1. Read the clue — it hints at the theme of your climb.
  2. Type a new word that changes exactly ONE letter from the word you are on.
  3. The new word must be a real word (use the letter buttons, then press Enter).
  4. Keep climbing until your latest word matches the goal at the top.

Example climb

  • Start: CAT Goal: COW
  • Step 1: CAT → COT (change A to O)
  • Step 2: COT → COW (change T to W)
  • You reached the goal in 2 steps!

Tips

  • Tap Hint if you need one letter. Tap Show solution to see a full path.
  • Tap Next puzzle at the top to try a different ladder without finishing.
  • Pick Easy, Medium, or Hard — each bundle has shorter or longer climbs.
